It’s proving to be a busy 2025 for me! I am participating in several events and conventions across the world, and it’s a good feeling, getting back into the swing of things.
But the big news: I am going to be attending Worldcon Seattle. This will mark my first convention in the United States and my first time being in the USA as an author.
This is my schedule for the near future:
July 16: Willoughby Library Festival – Chatswood Library, Sydney, Australia
· Panel on the State of Publishing https://libraries.willoughby.nsw.gov.au/Eventbrite/Panel-The-state-of-speculative-publishing-in-Australia-1391136690289
· Reading/signing https://libraries.willoughby.nsw.gov.au/Eventbrite/Readings-and-open-mic-1391144182699
August 13-17: Worldcon Seattle, Seattle, USA
· [Signings and panels TBA]
Sep 6: Jackson Ford and Jeremy Szal in conversation – Galaxy Bookshop, Sydney, Australia
· I’m helping to launch the badass new book by Jackson Ford, The Bone Raiders. https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/jackson-ford-x-jeremy-szal-in-conversation-tickets-1409969549879?aff=oddtdtcreator
So if you are attending WorldCon, please feel free to come and say hello. I'm also very happy to sign books, for anyone that wants one signed.
I honestly don't know when, or even if, I’ll be doing events in America again, so I’m happy to make the most of it.
I’ll also likely be doing a slew of panels, signings and events at the convention, in addition to a little bookstore crawl across Seattle, where I sign stock for any bookshops that have my work available. More information on those when I have them.
And finally, regarding news about Wolfskin:
Yes, I have a tentative release date. But I am not currently allowed to share it. As soon as I can, I will.
Till next time,
- Jeremy
